Scary Poppins

inspired by images from =

http://thebrainpages.tumblr.com/

A giant chalk image upon a painted black wall (could also use water soluble paint).

Performer stands in front of wall with make-up similar to theme/colours/stye of image.

Lightening flashes and a rainstorm begins.

We use two hoses to make rain - one for the performer, the other for the mural.

Gradually the chalk runs down the wall. Could focus it so the image cries at first, or a heart bleeds, or two figures run into each other.

The image slowly dissolves to reveal smudged mangled traces of what was there.

At the same time the make-up of the performer/s mimic the image by becoming wet and running down the face, the hair that was once highly styled and structured is wet and limp. Very crying clown.

It finishes with camera tracking the flow of paint/chalk coloured water flowing down from the wall into a drain > through the grate and fade to black.
